1. Hearing about the sexual abuse & child molestation that Southern Baptists covered up for years, I wonder how many followers believe the current right-wing bullshit about Democrats being pedophiles, but doubt it could have happened in their own church — even with evidence.

2. These extremely Christian leaders did what they did *because* they believe in a Christian god who would protect, hide, and forgive them. They believe their positions of authority in a Christian structure gave them the right to do as they will.

   That's a Christianity, not atheism.
