Democrats and their liberal allies have launched a coordinated assault on patriotic Americans who are simply standing up against the encroachment of an overbearing government on their lives—using their power to harass and intimidate the millions who disagree with them.
- Some would be offended by Lloyd Smith’s implication that Democrats and liberals are not patriotic
- Mr. Smith gives no examples of harassment and intimidation to “the millions who disagree with them”
They have vilified conservatives who oppose a government-takeover of health care—calling concerned citizens an “angry mob,” “extremists,” and even accusing us of Nazism. Nancy Pelosi believes that protesting out-of-control government makes you “un-American.” And Barack Obama has demanded that citizens report their friends and neighbors who oppose his plan to the White House.
- I guessing Mr. Smith did little to criticize Republicans who called people protesting the war in Iraq un-American
- Has Barack Obama actually made such a demand? The only references are from dubious right wing web sites
- Republicans are the ones who have been accusing others of Nazism
Democrats are so desperate that they are sending armies of paid activists to Missouri. Radical groups like ACORN, MoveOn.org, the SEIU, and Organizing for America have come here to shout down conservatives.
Really? Seems to me the only people actually doing any shouting are conservatives.

I find it amusing how Republicans suddenly become deficit hawks when a Democrat is in the White House. Also, where does the $1 trillion figure come from and is it $1 trillion a year, a decade or what?
