Neil Gaiman teases Good Omens TV series
Neil Gaiman has confirmed that a television adaptation of his novel Good Omens is in development.
The 1990 book, co-written by Gaiman and Terry Pratchett, focuses on the attempts of the angel Aziraphale and the demon Crowley to avert the end of the world following the birth of Satan’s son.
Pratchett previously confirmed that a television version was in development but revealed no further details.
In a recent interview, Gaiman told DS: “Terry Jones, of Monty Python fame, is going to be adapting… Good Omens, which I think is great.”
The author added that he and Pratchett will not be “very heavily involved” in the adaptation.
“Our plan for Good Omens was [to] find the best possible people and… let them get on it,” he explained.
